Wilburt T. Simms
Pastor Wilburt Simms was baptized in Jesus name in December 1987 at Pentecostal Apostolic Faith Church (later renamed Solid Rock Apostolic Faith Church). Pastor Simms received the gift of the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God gave him utterance on January 20, 1988. The then, Brother Simms, was given the responsibility of being the church's faithful van driver and remained in that position for three and a half years. Brother Simms served his church in many capacities as Trustee, ordained Deacon, Minister, ordained Elder, Second Assistant Pastor; and Assistant Pastor of Solid Rock Apostolic Faith Church under the leadership of Pastor Barbara Abraham.
On March 11, 2013, Elder Simms founded Jesus Is The Only Way Apostolic Faith Church. A ministry devoted to compelling dying men and women to be saved. For the past 8 years God has used Pastor Simms and the ministry of JTOW to touch the lives of many members of the community. There have been testimonies of people being healed, delivered, receiving the Holy Ghost, and even being restored under the Church’s ministry. With the help of God, his loving wife of 39 years, Minister Brenda Simms (First Lady) and his family, he is continuing to build the kingdom of God.
Pastor Simms lives by his favorite scripture Jude1:24-25 “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”
